This week is a bit different for our seniors, with two games for State League due to rescheduling round 11 for Aus lacrosse.

On Saturday, catch State League v Footscray at Angliss Reserve at 3pm. Then both teams play on Sunday at Eric Raven Reserve.

Congratulations to Amelia and Shyla, who had their debut in State League on Sunday! A super exciting and impressive milestone for our junior ‘Porters on such a special day 👏

It was great to watch two intense games of lacrosse from our seniors who fought hard against Footscray! Thank you to all the ‘Porters who showed up and supported our amazing girls on such a special day! 💪

Our juniors had an awesome day for our 2026 Sue Sofarnos Round! It was amazing to see so many supporters out there in the black and gold, cheering our superstars on! 👏

Congratulations to Marlee Wood, who was chosen by both sets of coaches from FLC and NLC to be awarded the Melli Buddha Award in our annual Sue Sofarnos Round! 👏

Marlee displayed exemplary sportsmanship and great mental and physical toughness with poise, heart and the will to win. She inspired, led and supported her teammates with positivity and passion. Marlee also displayed grit, determination, resilience and fought for every inch. She honoured herself, her team, the opposition and the spirit of Lacrosse in the way Sue ‘Melli’ Sofarnos always showcased, mentored and lead the sport and its people. 💪

Congratulations Marlee! We know Melli would be incredibly proud of your effort and continued commitment to excellence for our great game! 💛🖤
