πŸ“Έ 50's vs Plenty Valley

A few snaps from our 50's clash against Plenty Valley yesterday.

The boys continued their strong season with another impressive performance, bringing plenty of intensity around the contest and showing why they're one of the teams to watch this year.

As always, a big thank you to Greg for spending his day on the sidelines capturing the action. We might give him a hard time about the odd blurry photo, but we're lucky to have someone so passionate about our club documenting these moments every week! πŸ“ΈπŸ˜‚

Enjoy the photos and don't forget to tag your teammates if you spot them.

πŸ“Έ Seniors vs Plenty Valley – Captured by Greg

Round 6 saw our Seniors take on Plenty Valley, and thankfully Greg was once again roaming the boundary with camera in hand.

After surviving the billion photos from the Reserves game, Greg backed it up for the Seniors and managed to find plenty of sharp ones amongst the action! πŸ˜‚πŸ“Έ

These shots capture a fantastic team performance as the boys got the job done and continued what was a great day for the Seagulls. From hard contests and strong marks to plenty of celebration, Greg was there to catch it all.

πŸ“Έ Reserves vs Plenty Valley – Through Greg's Lens

A huge thank you to Greg, who spent the afternoon behind the camera at yesterday's Reserves game against Plenty Valley.

Now, we're not saying he took a lot of photos... but we may have had to scroll through about a billion of them! πŸ˜‚ There were a few blurry ones in the mix, but that's all part of the action, and we absolutely love that he gets out there every week having a crack and capturing our club.

Amongst the thousands of shots were some absolute rippers that captured the intensity, determination and excitement of a game that saw our Reserves come from behind in the final 10 minutes to sn**ch a thrilling 3-point victory over the top side.

Thanks Greg – we appreciate your passion and the memories you help create for our club. πŸ’™πŸ’›

ROUND 6 RESULTS | WHAT A WEEKEND FOR THE GULLS! πŸŸ‘πŸ”΅

There was plenty to celebrate across Williamstown this weekend, with our teams delivering some outstanding performances.

Our Women's Non-Contact side continues to set the standard, securing another victory and maintaining their impressive season with just one loss so far. The girls are playing some fantastic footy and showing why they're one of the competition's teams to beat.

The Women's Contact team also deserves enormous credit. After going down to Port Melbourne by 102 points in Round 1, the improvement shown over the past few months has been incredible. To take on the same side in Round 6 and only fall short by 8 points is a testament to the hard work, commitment and growth of this group.

Our Men's 60s turned back the clock against Brunswick, playing some old-school footy and loving every minute of it. The boys came away with a strong 42-point win and showed that experience and teamwork never go out of style.

Sunday saw our Men's 50s, Reserves and Seniors take on Plenty Valley, and it was definitely our day.

βœ… 50s by 119 points
βœ… Reserves by 3 points
βœ… Seniors by 85 points

The Reserves win was one for the ages. Trailing late against the ladder leaders, the boys dug deep and produced a remarkable comeback in the final 10 minutes to sn**ch a thrilling 3-point victory.

A massive congratulations to all players, coaches, volunteers and supporters who made it another memorable weekend for the Seagulls.

Go Gulls! πŸ’™πŸ’›πŸ¦…

What a cracking morning down at Crofts Reserve! β˜€οΈ

Our 60’s got the day off to the perfect start with a strong 10.6.66 to 4.0.24 victory over Brunswick.

Not a breath of wind, the sun is shining, and there was some terrific footy on display. Special mentions to Cocha and Gav Bunshaw, who both kicked some magnificent goals.

The action continues this afternoon with our Reserves and Seniors taking the field. If you're looking for somewhere to spend your Sunday, come down to Crofts Reserve, support the boys, enjoy the sunshine, and be part of a great day at the footy.
