I just completed a 12 Week Get Your Shape Back with Sofie and noticed vast improvements in my ability to lift progressively heavier weights & generally push myself harder as the weeks went on.
I also have a better understanding of nutrition and a new found love of all things meatโฆnot to mention my clothes fit heaps better too!

A massive congratulations to Miro for making huge lifestyle changes to be a better version of himself.
Miro trains together with his wife who also has made positive health changes (as seen in a previous post).
Not only has he lost 15kg but has reversed Type 2 diabetes, no more insulin. This is BIG ๐ช๐ป the doctors are in shock !

A huge shift and goal achieved was coming off anxiety meds after 24 years (this was done with the guidance of her GP).
During this journey her husband who trained with her lost 11kg ๐ช๐ป
โTwelve weeks ago I started my transformation with Sofie and I have not looked back.
I know that I would never have achieved the level of fitness and wellness I have at my age if not for the personal attention given during my sessions and nutrition.
Sofie is always encouraging and pushing you to your full potential.
No session is the same each one is high energy, exciting and challenging.
Thanks to Sofie I feel stronger healthier and more confident in myselfโ.

โ 12 Week - Gut Healing Protocol โ
Back in July I started a gut healing protocol with Katherine from My Proper Nutrition. I found Katherine on IG, coincedently Katherine shops at the same butcher as me (Paddock to Table).
I followed her for a while and her knowledge/education resonated with me and my beliefs on health.
A bit of my backstory - I don't have a gallbladder, I was told I was "lactose intolerant" many years ago and I am now postmenopause.
In short the protocol involved eliminating foods that are problematioc for digestion, remove parasites, heal the gut and re-introduce foods at different stages. The end goal is to be able to tolerate and enjoy all foods!
Katherine has introduced me to fermenting food, kefir, raw milk/cheese. Food prep was key on staying on track, I never felt deprived or hungry, in fact I was eating so much nutrient dense foods.
Snapshot of staple foods - beef, lamb, organs, pumpkin, zucchini, carrot, sauerkraut, appe cider vinegar, bone broth. Generally a new food was introduced every 2-3 weeks after the inital four weeks.
Its now 18 week later I can tolerate raw milk, hot flushes are gone, no bloating, and training/recovery has been phenomenal- stronger and no DOMS ๐
What now you might be thinking ... why change something that is working and makes you feel good ?๐ (80/20 rule).

PS. I've been asked "how much weight have you lost ?" - no idea, its not about the scales, I can visibly see how my body shape has changed, thats enough, as I get older (50+) I want to feel good, exercise for longevity, be physically strong with no sickness or disease.
