2026 Clubman Award
This award is a very special one 💙🤍

To be named Best Clubman is certainly a real compliment, because it recognises someone who has gone above and beyond for our club.

There are so many people around the Eagles who, throughout the season, have put their hand up to help in countless ways. And that is what makes this award so difficult trying to find the person who best represents what being a club person is all about.

After reflecting on the season and probably overthinking it more times than I’d like to admit the decision was made on the person who we felt best fit the award.

This person has been part of the club for several years now, playing their part and contributing along the way. But this year, they really stepped up and took on far more responsibility than they had originally anticipated.

What was already a decent amount of contribution to the club became even more.

This person fills pretty much any rostered spot in the canteen or bar, receives constant requests.
They have been someone I could call, text, ask a question of, or throw another job at and somehow, they always seemed to make it happen and get it done!

Your commitment, willingness to learn, reliability and genuine care for this club have not gone unnoticed.
They put their hand up to learn a completely new role and support the club through an unexpected turn of events.
They didn’t hesitate they simply stepped up and did what needed to be done.
Not only myself, but the entire committee and club are incredibly grateful for your consistent dedication to the Ararat Eagles Football Netball Club.

They have written grant proposals, controlled our social media, helped wherever needed and, halfway through the year, stepped up to take on the role of Vice President.

You have taken on more than you probably ever expected to this year, and you have done it with such a positive attitude and willingness to help.

Congratulations on being named the 2026 Ararat Eagles Best Clubman.
You absolutely deserve it, and we are incredibly lucky to have you as part of our Eagles family.

Massive congratulations to Jess Bigmore on a well deserved Life Membership 💙🤍

Jess has been around the club for over 20 years and is always helping especially in our netball department. Jess is a constant around the club and always willing to help wherever she can, congratulations Jess!!

Aimee gives so much back to our club through coaching and volunteering wherever she can. We are very grateful to have you at the Eagles!!

Britt and Hayley have done an amazing job with the girls this season. They made their way into the finals and have all improved so much throughout the year!!

The girls had a great season this year making the prelim final and should all be so proud of their efforts. A big thankyou to Kyla and Bec for their time and effort coaching the girls this year!!
