Tam grabbed an 11th Outright and 5th in class for the latest Victorian Club Autocross Series (VCAS) Rd 6 at the killer Swan Hill Sporting Car Club Inc. twin track. With over 50 laps completed for the weekend with steady progress chipping away at the lap times building a great result. The non-turbo Tufflift Hoists Impreza RS more than held its own against some very fast cars land competitors, with some shiny new Shockworks suspension making a huge difference. Huge thanks to the Tyrepower Ararat boys for a late notice tyre shuffle, as we had to pull the pin on the WRX at the last minute, and the crew at the Repco Australia Ararat. Day 1 Swan Hill VCAS Done! A PB for Tam so far with a 6th Outright for the first day and a 5th in class. Our new Shockworks suspension has made it a new car! Gliding over the bumps like they were never there and being able to trust that it could handle corners at speed helped Tam push so much harder. Keen for tomorrow to see if we can back it up! Huge thanks to Tyrepower Ararat for helping us out with a last minute tyre swap after we realised at the last minute we had to change cars!

FINALLY! The WRX is heading to VCAS 🙌

After what feels like forever, we can finally take the WRX to Swan Hill next weekend for its first VCAS round!

We’ve been waiting (and waiting 😅) on new brakes and rotors better suited to the gravel, so we could get the rally rims on and get it ready for autocross.

It took a while, but we’re there!

Pat and Tam are both entering, and we’re pretty keen to finally get some laps down and keep testing the car out on the gravel.

Tyrepower Ararat - thanks to these legends for never complaining when we drop off a bunch of rims and tyres to change over.

Repco Australia Ararat- thanks to Jan especially for persisting and finally managing to get the brakes and rotors delivered and looking after us!

So… where’s Lachie Meehan been? 👀

It’s been a while since Lachie’s popped up on the page, but he’s been keeping pretty busy behind the scenes.

He’s finally getting stuck into something he’s wanted to do for a long time — building his own rally car.

And of course, it’s another Subaru Impreza RS 😂 This isn’t the RS you normally see us out in though — this one is all Lachie’s.

It’s all fully caged up, the engine’s in and it’s getting some paint. Still plenty to do, but it’s definitely starting to look the goods.

He’ll be out rallying before we know it!

Well, today didn’t quite go to plan! 🌧️

Round 4 of Victorian Club Autocross Series (VCAS) at Shepparton was cancelled due to the rain, but seeing as we’d already made the trip, we decided to make the most of the day and head to the Museum of Vehicle Evolution - MOVE

What a great place! Cars, trucks, bikes, buses and plenty of motorsport history to check out.

We couldn’t walk past the SEGA Rally arcade game without a bit of competition between us 😂

A highlight was checking out the Oscar Piastri collection, with his trophies, race gear, old racing sim and other things. We even got to have a great chat with Oscar’s grandad, Hughie, which made the visit even better.

Not quite the day we had planned, but this helped us make the most of it!

Next stop… SHEPPARTON!

This Saturday we’re heading to Shepparton for Round 4 of the Victorian Club Autocross Series (VCAS) (VCAS)

It’ll be Tam’s first time competing at this track, so a brand-new challenge and another track to tick off the list.

He’s baaaack!! 🔥

Pat Meehan has been a little quiet lately—too busy building drift cars instead of driving them!

In August, Pat and his partner Georgia Elizabeth headed to the mighty Mallala Motorsport Park in SA for a huge weekend with Drifting SA and the Glitter Gang Drift Ladies Matsuri. They both took turns behind the wheel of G’s pink AU Falcon.

Unfortunately, their weekend was cut short when the gearbox gave up during the first qualifying round—but it was awesome to see Pat back behind the wheel and G killing it on the drift track!

Not quite rally ready yet… but getting there!

With only a half cage, our Impreza RS is not ready to compete just yet — but the WDCC opportunity for Tam to drive as a Sweep course car at the Ada River Rally last weekend meant she still got to take on Victorian Rally Championship special stages through the mountains around Noojee. Thanks to David Leoncini for co-driving!
