THE NEXT CHAPTER — THE FUTURE OF ARMADALE FOOTBALL CLUB
1909 — Armadale Football Club was founded.
1971 — Our pavilion was built.
2026 — A new chapter begins.
For 117 years, Armadale Football Club has been part of the heart of our community.
And for the past 55 years, our pavilion has been the place generations of the Armadale football family have called home.
Now, work has officially commenced on the demolition of the old pavilion, making way for a new and improved home for Armadale Football Club and our community.
Watching the old pavilion come down brings mixed emotions.
Within those walls are more than five decades of memories — wins and losses, celebrations and heartbreak, presentations, team talks, friendships, families and generations of players who have proudly worn the red and black.
But while the building may be disappearing, the history created within it never will.
Because Armadale Football Club has never simply been a building.
Our club is its people.
It is those who founded our club in 1909.
It is the generations who built it, volunteered for it, played for it and fought to keep it going.
It is our Life Members and past players.
It is our current players, coaches, volunteers, families and supporters.
And it is the children, women and men who are yet to walk through our doors and pull on an Armadale jumper for the very first time.
Our new clubrooms will represent much more than bricks and mortar.
They will represent growth, opportunity and the future of football in Armadale.
A new home where our Auskickers can begin their football journey.
Where our junior boys and girls can grow and develop.
Where female football can continue to grow.
Where our Colts can take the next step.
Where our senior teams can proudly represent the red and black.
Where our Life Members, past players and supporters will always have a place to call home.
And where our families and wider community can continue coming together for generations to come.
The pavilion built in 1971 has served our club proudly for 55 years.
As it makes way for something new, we say goodbye to the building — but never to the memories made inside it.
Those memories become part of the foundation upon which our next chapter will be built.
We will honour those who came before us by making sure the generations who follow have an even stronger club to inherit.
One day, a new generation of players will walk through the doors of our new home.
They may never have seen the old pavilion.
But they will know the history.
They will know the name.
They will know the colours.
They will know the jumper.
And they will know what it means to be part of Armadale Football Club.
