The wait is over—registrations for the Spartans Little Athletics 2026/27 season are officially OPEN! 🎉

📅 Training commences Tuesday, 15 September
🏃 Tuesdays and Thursdays
⏰ 4:30pm–6:00pm

1 Carradine Road, Mount Nasura

🏆 Saturday competitions commence 17 October at 7:30am.

This season, we’re taking athletics on the road! 🚌

While Morgan Park undergoes redevelopment, Dale LAC will travel to neighbouring Little Athletics centres—giving our athletes the opportunity to experience different venues and tracks, compete against new athletes and build new friendships along the way.

Please note that parent supervision and participation in the parent roster are mandatory.

After watching how incredibly well our Aussies performed at the Commonwealth Games, what better time for our young athletes to have a go, try something new and maybe discover a sport they love! 🌟

Little Athletics is a fantastic participation sport where children can experience a variety of track and field events, build confidence, improve their fitness, challenge themselves and make some great friends along the way. 🧡

Spartans is a fully inclusive club, welcoming athletes of all abilities from beginners having their very first go through to experienced athletes wanting to continue developing their skills.

There is something for everyone — run, jump, throw, make friends and have FUN! 🙌

Spartans Little Athletics is a registered KidSport club, with eligible families able to access financial assistance towards registration fees.

If you are planning to use a KidSport voucher, we strongly encourage you to apply as soon as possible, as vouchers can take some time to process.

Spartans Little Athletics Club is incredibly grateful to have been awarded a $5,000 Game On, Girls Grant through the Western Australian Government and the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport. 🧡👏

This funding is a fantastic opportunity to continue building a welcoming, inclusive and supportive environment where girls aged 13–17 can thrive in athletics.

The grant will help us invest in initiatives that encourage more girls to participate, build confidence, develop new skills and continue their athletics journey. From specialised coaching clinics and workshops to equipment, training resources and opportunities that strengthen participation and retention, we’re excited about what’s ahead.

At Spartans, we believe every girl deserves the chance to feel empowered, supported and inspired through sport. This grant allows us to continue creating pathways where young athletes can challenge themselves, make lifelong friendships and discover what they’re capable of.

A heartfelt thank you to the Government of Western Australia and the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport for investing in grassroots sport and believing in the future of girls in athletics.
