Meet Sarah - Head of Equestrian!

From starting as a complete beginner at 15 to competing at Elementary Dressage in Year 12, Head Student of Equestrian Sarah shares her inspiring journey, her Olympic dreams, and what makes NEGS Equestrian feel like a place where she belongs.

The Journey & Passion
Sarah only began riding in February 2024 with a 13-year-old ex-barrel racer named Valley. In just three years, her family’s team has grown to eight horses—including her mare Mystery, whom she transformed from feeling like "a donkey" into a "James Bond Ferrari" through dedicated dressage training. Sarah loves dressage for its precision and the patience it demands, perfectly matching her perfectionist mindset.

Life at NEGS Equestrian Center
For Sarah, the Equestrian Center offers an athlete's lifestyle with top-tier arenas, world-class coaching, and a warm, supportive community. It provides a safe space to reset after school and fuel her ultimate goal: representing Australia at the Olympics and World Equestrian Games.
