It was a pleasure cleaning this one up, bringing it back from the dead after over two decades of it being half buried in the garage. Whilst it may never hit another cricket ball again it'll certainly make a great conversation piece with a hell of a story.

πŸ‘€How good are these?!πŸ‘€

We are now offering coloured pads and gloves. No minimum order quantity required so these are great for teams and for the individual.
You can get them in any colour combination, with the same high quality and great price as our classic white kit. πŸ€

πŸ€SOFTS ARE IN!πŸ’«

If you haven't already heard we now have softs available. We are stocking batting pads and gloves, as well as keeping pads and gloves in limited numbers so get in quick.

They're super light, comfortable and offer the same test level protection that the big brands will charge you hundreds of dollars for. Check out our website for pricing.

In other news, it was fantastic to see a heap of Lucky Huntsman gear in action over the weekend. How good does the full kit look! πŸ‘€

When no one wants the best performing cleft in the batch because it's an 'ugly' grade 2, so you get to keep it for yourself to make something a bit special

It's always exciting receiving a package. We've topped up on our grips and anti-scuff sheets, and if you look closely you might notice a couple of special things to keep and eye out for. πŸ‘€

Back with another custom bat this week, this one with a more conventional shape, but no less effective. Lightweight, with a nice long spine to get the most out of the middle; this shape suits play off both the front and back foot; and will be a weapon in it's owners hands.

The Australian season is just around the corner so there's no better time to get your hands on a brand new bat custom made for you. πŸ€

This much loved favourite came in with some serious damage and left looking brand new. Note the contrasting sticker designs showing both ends of the spectrum in terms of sticker coverage.

What do you prefer, more stickers or less stickers?

Quite a unique shape on this custom bat. With a long sweet spot from low-mid and a generous portion of heartwood, it's certainly not for everyone but should be perfect for its new owner.

Unfortunately, many people avoid bats with heartwood simply because they don't like the looks. Even many manufacturers would sell this as grade 2 due to the heartwood, despite the 16 arrow straight-grains.

I personally think a bat looks its best just after it sends a ball to the boundary rope, which this bat will be doing plenty of.

We were originally asked to cut two inches off the toe of this MRF (originally a Stanford). The owner had almost given up on it and wanted to salvage it to use as a training bat.
Instead, we repaired the cracks and filled in the gaps with our own special mix. Not the prettiest repair you'll ever see but definitely effective.
This bat will get a toeguard applied for some extra protection and will be good to use for many matchdays to come.
