VAWDON CUP STARTS TONIGHT!

Tonight we officially tap off the 2026 Vawdon Cup, and this year is an extra special one as we celebrate 50 years of Vawdon Cup!

To all referees appointed for Match Day 1, an EDM was sent yesterday with everything you need to know for tonight including key information to help you get ready for the first round.

Thanks to those who were able to attend the Refbook and Vawdon Cup Information Meeting last night.

All Vawdon Cup Referees and panel members should now have received Refbook organisation links. If you have not been sent a link, please contact Josh Davies ([email protected]) directly.

𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗮𝘄𝗱𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝘂𝗽 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 📣

Just a friendly reminder that there will be an online information meeting for all Vawdon Cup Referees on the Tuesday 25th August, starting at 6:30pm.

Due to NSW Touch Football (NSWTF) using Refbook as the event's official management platform, it is important you are able to attend the session.

If there are any referees who are only available for the double header, please also contact Josh Davies ([email protected]) directly for the meeting link, as you will also be required to attend.

𝗡𝗦𝗪 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 (𝗘𝗢𝗜) 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗸 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝘂𝗽𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀.

These roles support the efficient operation of events with relation to referees and are a central point of contact at events for NSWTF staff, Referee Panel and Tournament Leads.

Applications close 5pm Friday 28th August 2026. No late applications will be accepted.

To make sure you’re fully prepared, please familiarise yourself with the approved national referee uniform to be worn at all NSW Touch Football events.

A reminder that New Balance-branded and long socks must be worn for livestreamed games.
