Well done to our amazing 185 parkrunners who got out there this morning to run, jog or walk our beautiful, leafy-green and wet- weather alternate course!

Congratulations to Koa WILMOTT who completed his 200th parkrun and another treasured local, Mr Ken SWANWICK who celebrated his 50th volunteer with us this morning for Event #529.

We enjoy celebrating milestones, if you have one coming up, please get in touch and we'll give you a shout out in the run briefing.

Today we welcomed Kevin Boyd from Dishley parkrun, England. Kevin made a connection on course with a mate from 25 years ago, how awesome is that. Enjoy your time in Oz and happy parkrunning!

Hi, Folks. Happy parkrun eve! Looking forward to seeing everyone bright and early tomorrow. Might pay to bring your old runners as there is a high chance we will be running the alternate course. Please still gather at our usual spot for a 6:45 first timers briefing.

Another fantastic morning at Ashgrove parkrun, with 297 participants joining us for Event #528. We welcomed 51 first-timers and were supported by a dedicated team of volunteers who helped make the event possible.

Congratulations to everyone who took part, whether walking, jogging, running or supporting others around the course.

There were plenty of milestones and achievements to celebrate:

A delightful spring morning greeted the 286 participants and 10 volunteers at Ashgrove parkrun's 527th event, it was perfect conditions for a run, walk, skip, or jog, and there were plenty of smiles on display.

We had 8 brand new first time parkrunners join us, along with 36 visitors including from locations across Brisbane, Ipswich, and Canberra! Welcome to all and we hope to see you again.

The first male across the line was Dane Wilson in 18:17, and the first placed female was Zoe Aspinwall in 19:01. Well done to you both of you!

Extra congratulations go to our milestone runners this week: Liam Brecknell (50), Ken Hastie (100), and Ross Parkin (250). If you are celebrating a milestone in the coming weeks get in touch and we'll give you a shout out in the run briefing.
