Southport Soccer Club

Southport Soccer Club PH: (07) 55 396 475 Hello to all from the Southport Soccer Club. We are a local club bringing the world game to the Ashmore community.

This brings with it a lot of work for the Committee and volunteers. We endeavour to run the club as a business, staying financial and meeting our corporate governance commitments whilst keeping the small club feel and community friendly environment. Our aim is to provide the opportunity for players to participate in a team sport, to build a family orientated Club and to foster a sense of pride and achievement in being part of a team. We plan on catering to all standards and to improve skill level in all players through dedicated coaches. The future of our Club is the juniors, so we need to develop them into being the senior players of tomorrow. We, as the Board, welcome all members. We encourage feedback and communication and we look forward to another great year.

🎉 50 YEARS. ONE BIG PARTY. AND YOU’RE INVITED! 💚🤍

Southport Soccer Club is turning 50 - and it’s time to celebrate! 🥳

On Saturday 24 October, we’re taking a walk down memory lane and celebrating everything that makes SSC what it is - the players, members, volunteers, families, friends and everyone who has been part of our club over the past 50 years.

Whether you pulled on the green and white decades ago, you’re playing today, your kids are part of the club, or you’re yet to join us - come along and celebrate with us!

With the support of the City of Gold Coast and our local Division 6 Councillor, Cr Brooke Patterson, we’re turning the fields into one giant party from 2pm–7pm with:

🎶 Live music
🌭 Food trucks
🏰 Inflatables
🎨 Face painters
🎈 Balloon twisters
…and plenty more!

📅 Saturday 24 October
⏰ 2pm – 7pm
📍 Southport Soccer Club

Bring the family, catch up with old teammates and friends, and come and be part of a pretty special day for our club.

50 years of memories. 50 years of community. 50 years of SSC.

💚🤍 Come celebrate with us! 🤍💚

And finally, the cutest part of our weekend! ☺️⚽

Our Under 6 teams wrapped up the weekend competing at the Premier Invitational "Mini's", with an awesome turnout of four Southport teams hitting the fields!

A special shoutout to our U6 Blue team, who made it all the way to the Grand Final, going down 2–0 in a close game. 👏⚽

A huge day for our littlest Warriors, and we couldn’t be prouder of every one of you for getting out there, having fun and giving it your all!

Congratulations to all four teams on a fantastic carnival! 💚🤍
