HBZ Performance has two locations, one on the Atherton Tablelands HBZ headquarters in Atherton and HBZ 4870 in Cairns. We want to create positive change in this place and help the people of FNQ create the change they want in their lives. Run through the Herberton bushland and explore historic old tin-mining country, following the green ribbons along either:

⛏️ 7km short course
⛏️ 17km long course

A better squat begins with a strong, comfortable position—not with forcing yourself into somebody else’s shape.

Try these three cues:

1. Set your feet where you feel balanced.
2. Let your knees track in the same direction as your toes.
3. Keep your whole foot connected to the floor.

This Saturday we come together for Trev’s WOD — a workout in honour of a much-loved original member of HBZ Performance Centre.

And just like Trev, this workout gets a little tougher with age. 😉 The reps go up by ONE every birthday, which means this year we’re taking on 73 REPS of every movement!

Barbell: 72kg / 50kg

🔥 73 Double Unders
🔥 73 Toes to Bar
🔥 73 Deadlifts
🔥 73 Bar Facing Burpees
🔥 73 Pull-Ups
🔥 73 Box Squats

Break it up however you like. Chip away, make a plan, grab a mate and get it done.

It’s going to hurt. It’s going to be a good time. And most importantly, we’ll be doing it together for Trev. 🧡
