Toowong FC Toowong Football Club (Toowong FC) was founded in 1921 and is one of the oldest clubs in Brisbane. We are affiliated with Football Queensland.

The Toowong Football Club's prime focus is to provide a place for people of all ages to play and enjoy football (soccer). We were formed in 1921 which makes us one of the oldest clubs in Brisbane. Our senior women compete in the Football Qld Premier League 3 (FQPL3). We also have both Men’s and Women’s Metro teams at levels for both experienced players and beginners alike, and an extensive men’s masters program. Our Juniors (U13 to U17) and Miniroos (U6 to U12) are growing in numbers and we are always keen to welcome new girls and boys at any age group, with any skill level; we are proud to have all girls teams in all ages from U8 through to U16. Toowong FC changed its name from Toowong Soccer club in 2006. The Club plays at Dunmore Park, Auchenflower, after moving here in the 60s. In 2016 we completed a massive project to provide two full size playing fields and four full size changing rooms, giving us capacity to expand and provide more opportunities to community kids that want fun and affordable football action!

Football Queensland (FQ) have responded to strong community feedback to their previously announced fee structure changes by announcing that they will retain the existing model for 2027.

The published FQ fee structure for 2027 still shows governing body fee increases for all age groups (on top of the increases from Football Australia), but will be less than what participants would have seen under the Competition Fee Access (CAF) model.

We are still awaiting a few more specifics from FQ to inform our registration prices for 2027, and will share details once confirmed (aiming for November).

You can read FQ’s statement here - https://footballqueensland.com.au/2026/10/16/football-queensland-statement-regarding-2027-fee-structures/

Mandatory fee updates recently communicated by Football Australia (FA) and Football Queensland (FQ) are expected to lead to increases of at least $30-50 per player for registration fees for the 2027 season.

Our committee will be working hard to minimise the impact of these changes on our members. See our website for more information about these changes and their impact on your 2027 registration - https://toowongfc.com.au/governing-body-fee-changes-for-2027

We stand with the 100+ (and counting) across Queensland calling for major decisions that affect players, families, volunteers and community clubs to be transparent, properly explained and developed through genuine consultation.

We are excited to welcome Danielle Brady to the club as Head Coach of the Women's QPL3 team for 2027! Dani is an incredibly passionate coach who brings a wealth of experience in the women's game in SEQ across the last 26 years, most recently as Assistant Coach for the NPLW U23s at Easts, as well a being Technical Director for their Metro Youth program.

Dani will be joined in the QPL3 coaching team by Meshelle Ryan, and Liz Elphick (who is also TFC's Women's Coordinator). Long time TFC coaches Simon Collett, Emma Raymond and Lachlan Carl (not pictured) will also be returning in 2027, with Simon working with our new U23s cohort.

On her move to TFC, Dani said, β€œI’ve always admired Toowong FC as a hub for good eggs and good footballers. I’m very excited to work alongside this already awesome group, and strive to take it to the next level.”

Trials kick off later this month, so if you are interested in trialling to join our squad, fill out the Expression of Interest form - https://forms.gle/nF6aD2byAXLnmMDB6

Summer Sixes is rapidly approaching, and we need your help to get Dunmore Park ready for the season ahead! Our Working Bee is this Wednesday 30 Sept, starting from 5pm.

We need to set up 14 Summer Sixes goals and pack away our regular season equipment. The more helpers we can get the quicker we can get it all done.
