What an achievement for our Under 13 Georges River Super League team, who have booked their place in the Grand Final in the inaugural season of the GRSL!

In the very first year of this new competition, our boys have represented Austral with pride and earned themselves the opportunity to play for the inaugural GRSL Under 13 Championship.

This weekend, two Austral teams take the field in their Knockout Grand Finals, with both chasing an incredible achievement — completing the 2026 Treble.

Both our Under 15 Division 2 and Under 18 Division 2 sides have already claimed:

Undefeated Minor Premiers. Grand Final Winners. What a season!

Our Under 18 Division 2 side have capped off a sensational 2026 campaign with a huge 4–2 victory in the Grand Final!

After an outstanding season that saw the boys claim the Minor Premiership, they stepped up once again on the biggest stage and delivered when it mattered most.
Four goals in a Grand Final and another trophy coming home to Austral!

This result is the reward for the work, commitment and belief this group has shown throughout the entire season.

A massive congratulations to all the players, coaches, managers and families who have been part of this incredible year.

What a way to finish an outstanding season! Our Under 15 Division 2 side are officially 2026 Premiers after a fantastic 2–1 Grand Final victory!

This team has had a brilliant year, securing the Minor Premiership with four games still remaining before going all the way and finishing the job on Grand Final day.

When it mattered most, the boys stood up, worked for each other and delivered one final massive performance to bring the trophy home to Austral.

A huge congratulations to every player, the coaching and management team, and all the families and supporters who have been behind this team throughout the season.

It was a fantastic night for Austral Soccer Club at the Southern Districts Awards Night, with three of our players recognised for outstanding 2026 seasons.

🏆 Malik Saleh - All Age Men Division 4 MVP
A brilliant season from Malik, recognised as the Most Valuable Player in All Age Men Division 4.

🏆 Zane Saleh - Under 18 Division 1 MVP
Congratulations to Zane on an outstanding year, taking home the Most Valuable Player award for Under 18 Division 1.

⚽ Ali Teffaha - Under 18 Division 1 Golden Boot
Congratulations to Ali, whose outstanding season in front of goal saw him finish as the Golden Boot winner for Under 18 Division 1.

To have three Austral players recognised amongst the best in their respective competitions is an incredible achievement and something the entire club can be extremely proud of.

A massive congratulations to Malik, Zane and Ali on three thoroughly deserved awards! 👏

🏅 OUTSTANDING SERVICE AWARD | WAEL SALEH 🏅

Some awards are about what happens on the field. This one recognises the countless hours and incredible amount of work that happens behind the scenes.

A massive congratulations to our club secretary, Wael Saleh, who was presented with the Outstanding Service Award at the Southern Districts Awards Night.

Anyone involved with Austral knows just how much Wael gives to our club.
Being Secretary is much more than a title. Wael is involved in so much of what keeps Austral running — registrations, team coordination, communication with Southern Districts, match-day organisation, supporting coaches and managers, helping players and families, club events and dealing with the countless things that come up during a football season.

And that's only the work people see.
There are countless phone calls, emails, P&D meetings and late nights behind the scenes, making sure everything is ready so our teams can simply turn up each weekend and play football.

Whether it's at training during the week, around the grounds on weekends or working behind the scenes at all hours, Wael is always willing to step in and help wherever he is needed.

Grassroots football clubs simply don't exist without volunteers who are prepared to give their time, and Wael continues to give an incredible amount of his to Austral.
This award is thoroughly deserved recognition of that commitment — not just to Austral Soccer Club, but to our wider football community.

Congratulations Wael, and thank you for everything you do for Austral. We are incredibly proud to see your contribution recognised.
