It is with a heavy hearts we advise of Rob Baird’s passing. Please support our RC family at this sad time as we all remember Rob for his input, fun and the happiness and camaraderie he brought to the hobby and clubs he was part of. Fly high Rob - RIP.

Robs Race Round - August 2026

Well, what a glorious winter’s day we had to enjoy and support each other while doing what we love.

The track started out a little bumpy but by the time the finals were run, it was good as gold.

Thanks to Noono and Parky for setting up, Shane for the food provisions and timing setup, Parkys’ culinary masterchef skills, and Jakie / Rosco for bringing some bits and pieces and everyone for the pack up.

The driving was excellent with only about 5 or 6 marshaling events for the entire day. The GRCOR team showed their mec elec strength with all cars finishing all heats and finals! Very impressive 😉

We missed a few drivers with some work and personal business to take care of today - those who missed out are ‘spewing’..

Reminder to anyone available that can help spray weeds and do some track work, please get in contact so we can keep the track on point for the events as we head into spring. The weather is looking good for the next couple of days 🙂

Hobbies Direct - July Race Round - Results

Following the rains, all the work done including vegetation and compaction work got the track up to a good standard - we will be doing some more in a couple of weeks.

Coming up is a Fun / Practice day and you will have to nominate to attend by next Sunday so we can ensure enough numbers to run the event. A form will be available soon.

What a memorable day, we welcomed another new member - its great to see the club building and running three classes.

Bring on racing 🙂 - we had a few wash outs earlier in the year so we have a lot of eager beavers to hit the track!

No need to pre-enter, just rock up to race control from 7am. 🚦

New racers, please make sure you have a kill switch fitted, just $30 for non members for the day. $15 for members.
