The Burdekin Academy is a club for all ages to enjoy and participate in all things Gymnastics

Gymnastics is a sport for all ages and abilities and this is what Burdekin Gymnastics Academy will be offering to the Burdekin. My name is Amy Cranitch and I have been involved in Gymnastics for approximately 20 years. I am the manager and head coach for Burdekin Gymnastics Academy and believe that gymnastics is a sport which prepares children for sport skills in all areas of sport and coordination. It works all muscles in the body as well as developing fine and gross motor skills. The classes to be offered by the club will cater for all ages and abilities including recreational and competitive streams of Mens and Womens gymnastics along with Kindergym.

Our amazing junior ambassador Amity shone bright and beautiful on stage and at the beautiful long lunch today!! She has proudly represented our club throughout her ambassador journey and we couldn’t be more grateful for the kind words she has spoken about her gym and her gymnastics family.
Thank you Amity for being a gymnast who all of our junior gymnasts look up to! Your passion and encouragement for the sport represents the special person and role model you have grown to be!!
