Bairnsdale parkrun is FREE and open to people of all standards and ages, both as volunteers and as runners/walkers. We encourage people of every ability to take part, from those taking their first steps in running to Olympians, from juniors 5-years or older to those with decades of experience. All runners receive encouragement and enjoy being part of a community event open to all standards. Equally, our volunteer teams come from a huge variety of backgrounds and we urge everybody to get involved in organising their local events at least once out of every 10 parkruns. By doing this we can help everyone share the load and enjoy participating in the activity, as well as enjoying the rewards of volunteering.

This week 98 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 15 were first timers and 1 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 7 different clubs took part.

The event was made possible by 8 volunteers:

Bairnsdale parkrun started on 12th March 2016. Since then 4,808 participants have completed 32,361 parkruns covering a total distance of 161,805 km, including 4,004 new Personal Bests. A total of 501 individuals have volunteered 3,799 times.

This week 88 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 14 were first timers and 11 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 5 different clubs took part.
