Choosing the next step for your dancer can feel like a big decision.

More training. Different education options. New commitments. New opportunities.

That's why our Academy Open Day is designed to give families the opportunity to come in, meet our teachers, see the environment and have an honest conversation about what Academy could look like for their student.

You don't need to have all the answers before you arrive.

You don't need to know which pathway you want.

✨ WHAT. A. WEEKEND! ✨

Our Competition Team took to the stage at Express Dance Challenge this weekend, and we could not be prouder!

From early call times and final rehearsals to backstage nerves, quick costume changes, cheering each other on and those unforgettable moments on stage... this is what competition weekends are all about. ❤️

Our dancers brought incredible energy, passion and commitment to every performance, and we were thrilled to come away with some amazing results and placings across the weekend!

But beyond the trophies and awards, one of our favourite things to watch was the way our team supported one another. The encouragement backstage, the cheers from the audience and the genuine excitement for each other's achievements is what makes being part of a team so special.

Congratulations to every Momentum dancer who performed this weekend. You represented the Academy beautifully, and we hope you're incredibly proud of everything you achieved!

And we're not done yet... 👀

We'll be heading back to Express Dance Challenge again next weekend as our incredible soloists take to the stage!

Good luck to everyone preparing — we can't wait to do it all again! 🔥

There isn't one type of student who belongs in Academy.

Our programs are designed for students who are passionate about performing arts and are ready to explore what more training could look like for them.

That might mean adding extension training to their existing school week.

It might mean pursuing pre-professional training.

It could mean combining education and dance through a flexible learning pathway.

Or perhaps they're beginning to think seriously about where their passion could take them in the future.

On Friday 25 September, we're opening our doors for our only Academy Open Day of the year.

This isn't just an information session. It's an opportunity for students and parents to experience a real Academy day, meet our teachers, see our training environment and discover the different pathways available for 2027.

From extension and pre-professional training through to flexible education and nationally recognised qualifications, Momentum Academy is designed to support students who are ready to take their performing arts training further.

Whether you're already considering Academy or simply curious about what it could look like for your family, we'd love you to come and experience it for yourself.
