His commitment was recognised with the 2014/15 Best Clubman of the Year Award, and he now takes on another important role as our newly elected Club President.

Life Membership is reserved for those who have made an exceptional and lasting impact on our club, and Justin’s contribution more than earns him this honour.

📢 Annual General Meeting

Our AGM was held on 3 June, with approximately 20 members in attendance. Thank you to everyone who took the time to attend and contribute to the future of our club.
We would like to extend a massive thank you to Kyle DeCamara, Troy Barradeen, and Tristan Barradeen, who have stepped down from the Executive Committee. We are incredibly grateful for the hard work, dedication, and time each of you has contributed.

A message from Kyle 💙

After much consideration I will unfortunately be stepping down as President of the cricket club. I’ve recently had a change in careers and started a FIFO job. This means I won’t be able to commit the time and effort required to suitably complete the role. I would like to thank everyone for their support they have provided me over the past 5 years I’ve spent on the executive committee. I am really proud of where the club is currently at, we are starting to see success on the field and creating a great culture off of it.

So looking into the future the club is seeking a new President. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our club, support our members, and help make a positive impact within our community.
I encourage anyone passionate about the success and future of our club to consider nominating themselves or a fellow member at tomorrow’s AGM.

The individual taking on this role will have a lot of support, not only from myself but also a group of life members who are more than happy to assist.

Together, let’s continue building a strong and successful cricket club both on and off the field.

Recognition Post 💙💙

On behalf of BLCC we would like to thank Lukas Culley.

Lukas originates from Newcastle Upon Tyne, England and plays for Ryton Cricket Club. Even at 18 years old he has made a massive impact on the field for the club, so to have him join our Blues Family for his summer abroad was a complete honour.

Lukas has been an integral part of our B-grade team in their journey to finishing premiers, and 2-day flag winners. Opening the batting Lukas showed maturity beyond his years and consistently created a stable platform during our batting innings, this allowed the rest of the team to flourish. His impact with the ball and in the field also needs a special mention. Final stats for the season.
