🏊‍♀️ Congratulations to Jayda on an outstanding Victorian Age Short Course Championships debut! 🏊‍♀️

Jayda took on the challenge of competing in the 12 Years Girls category at the Victorian Age Short Course Championships in Melbourne over the weekend, qualifying for an impressive six individual events and competing in two relay teams.

Her hard work and determination paid off, recording four personal best performances, including a huge 38.99-second PB in the 1500m Freestyle, which earned her a fantastic Bronze Medal. Jayda also achieved a strong 7th place finish in the 400m Freestyle, showcasing her versatility and endurance across the meet.

A terrific championship debut and an exciting indication of what's ahead. Well done, Jayda! 👏🥉💙

I am pleased to share that Justin R from the BMG WestVic group proudly represented Australia in karate at the international championships in Thailand from 14-17 August.

Justin delivered an exceptional performance, winning: 🥇 Gold Medal in the U21 Kumite -75kg division 🥈 Silver Medal in the Senior Male Team Kumite

Representing your country on the world stage is a remarkable accomplishment, and to return home with both gold and silver medals is a testament to Justin's dedication, skill, and hard work.

What a fantastic effort from our athletes at the 2026 Australian Athletics Cross Country Championships!

⭐ Oliver claimed team gold with the Victorian U17 Men's team and finished an impressive 4th individually.

🥈 Paige helped the Victorian U17 Women's team secure the silver medal.

💪 Olivia and Adam battled through the tough conditions to deliver strong performances on the muddy and wet Victoria Park course.
