We also offer a 15% concession rate, and if cost is still a barrier to practicing, please reach out. We will always do our best to find a way to make it work. We want you here.
We haven’t made these changes lightly. We care so deeply about affordability and financial access to yoga, and it’s been incredibly hard to balance that with the reality of running a small studio.
These changes help us better value our teaching team, while also covering increasing costs - including rent and the card surcharge that will be incurred by the business from October 1 - and, importantly, help make Eastside Yoga viable for the long term.
We’re so grateful for your understanding, your support, and for choosing to practice with us.
We value you so much. Thank you for being part of Eastside Yoga 🤎

Happening this Sunday 🤎
25/08/2026
This Sunday something so unique and special is coming to Eastside ✨ Our very own Michaela McCaw brings us this special learning event, the Practice of Teaching.
Her intention with this workshop is to validate teachers in their own unique approaches, experiences and offerings, as well as share evidence based teaching strategies that we can add to our toolkits - particularly when it comes to teaching to diversity through inclusive practice.
Bringing together her work as a yoga teacher, a middle-senior secondary school educator, and her educational background which includes a Masters degrees in teaching and in inclusive education; everything she shares is based in research and considered best practices in teaching.
The workshop has a sliding pay scale between $80-100, however if cost is a barrier please reach out. We have the ability to support scholarship positions.

✨ Happening this Saturday: Trauma Informed Yoga & Movement Facilitation ✨
We’d love to see you at our upcoming Trauma Informed Workshop facilitated by our good friend Renée Robson | Trauma-Informed Leadership.
In this 3-hour workshop, we’ll delve into how trauma and chronic stress hold space within the physical body, and how to integrate meaningful choice-making and interoception into your guidance. Learn to navigate the subtle ways nervous system dysregulation shows up in an Asana class, allowing you to support your students deeply without the need to identify or know anyone’s specific history. Take your facilitation to the next level by increasing somatic awareness, developing a process-oriented approach, and creating a truly inclusive, accessible environment.
These workshops were designed to support yoga and movement facilitators, as well as healthcare, community, and support professionals interested in exploring somatic physical practice for chronic stress, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and complex PTSD (CPTSD).
Over the course of these workshops, we will explore how trauma and chronic stress affect the mind-body complex, practical tools to help create supportive environments for people to explore their own personal safety and promote active choice making and reflective frameworks to explore the scope and boundaries of your role.
Key details:
Dates: Aug 22
Time: 12-3pm
Investment: $90
We would love to see you there, reach out if you have any questions.
