Another set of steak knives done and dusted , nitro v stainless steel ring gidgee handle with brass pin .

Here’s a some new additions

Finally finished a set of steak knives. The timber is red gum that came from
the clients favourite tree on the property.
Why are there seven knives?
Dad, Mum and five kids.

It’s been a long time since I’ve put any knives up so here’s is 6 little knackers off to a family so hope you enjoy them

Been along time posting this is a Damascus with 720 layers of steel knife with a Otway Blackwood handle

So, this what l was doing with dads old shearing combs and cutters with help from Adam from Parker Knives. We made canister, added high carbon powder into the canister with the combs and cutters. Forge welded all together then removed the steel canister. Continued forging to make a billet to make a couple of knives.
