Massive shoutout to Josh from The Outside Inn at Wannon Falls who showed so much passion and energy, which enabled our girls to shine in each activity.

We would like to congratulate all players on their selection, and also acknowledge the many community clubs that have played an integral role in developing these young women on and off the field.

The girls will play their first game on February 28th against Murray Bushrangers.

The Rebels would like to acknowledge the 10-20 players who trialled to be part of the squad but were not selected. You, your families, and friends should be extremely proud of your efforts. You have a lot of football ahead of you so be sure to enjoy it.

In conjunction with come along and learn about the processes behind identifying talent in the GWV Rebels region, and our approach to developing players for the present and the future.

** Local coaches are invited to attend training sessions:
GIRLS: Tuesday at Walter Oval (4.30pm)
BOYS: Tuesday at Mack Oval (4.30pm)

** Talent Forum from 5.15pm at Warrnambool Football Club (function room)

Please note: There is also an opportunity for local coaches to attend Girls Squad Training on Sunday (1st Feb) at Walter Oval (12.30pm)

A great opportunity for current/future coaches within the GWV Rebels region.

Community Shout Out 🖤🤍
We are proud to share a wonderful achievement recognised by the Lorne Surf Life Saving Club this summer.

One of our current Under 16s preseason squad members, Jack Stringer, has been awarded the Jess Sutton Shield at Bronze Camp.

This shield is awarded annually to a bronze candidate who demonstrates the qualities of empathy, compassion, and determination at the Lorne Bronze Camp.

Throughout summer, Jack has been patrolling Lorne Beach and playing an important role in keeping swimmers safe.

An outstanding achievement, Jack — we are incredibly proud of you 🌊🖤🤍
