Heads of the River 2026

A fantastic day of racing in Nagambie, with some great results across the board for CGS.
The blue and white spirit on the banks was something special, loud, proud and right behind every crew.
Well done to all rowers for their efforts, and to the supporters who brought the energy all day.

Head of the Schoolgirls 2026

What a fantastic weekend for CGS Rowing at Head of the Schoolgirls on the Barwon River.

An incredible 20 CGS crews competed across 18 divisions, showcasing the growing depth and strength of the girls’ program that Head Coach Darcy Wruck has been building. Every crew raced with determination and supported their teammates throughout the regatta, something we are very proud of.

A huge thank you to our coaches, the Pennefather Club members, and the many CGS parents and supporters who lined the banks across the weekend to cheer the girls on.

Great day at Scotch Mercs for CGS rowing.
Strong racing from the boys across the day, with a fantastic result for the Year 10 VIII taking the win in the Division 1 B Final.

The CGS marquee is up and the energy is building. A fantastic start to the biggest regatta on the schoolgirls rowing calendar.
