Some of you who've recently been into the store will have noticed this hairy individual in the workshop.
We're happy to welcome Josh aka to the Cycle City team 🙌. Josh brings 17+ years of cycling & mechanical knowledge with him and is always ready to help out a fellow cyclist in need.
When he's not drinking strong coffee or eating vegiemite and cheese sandwiches, he's working his magic in the workshop.

Must be the week for worn out stuff and this makes me unhappy. 😞

Along with these Ninja star jockey wheels this bike has a chain that's stretched beyond hope and a large chain ring that could potentially be used to cut lengths of 4x2.

For the love of Pete spend a bit of time caring for your bike.

Believe me it will save you time and 💵 in the long run!!!

Little project for the Spanner and Sprocket studio. A knock over with a wire brush, a lick of stove black and this little champ will be ready for the long dark winter ahead.

Alloy torx screws can be a right pain in the proverbial when the heads get rounded out by over enthusiastic home mechanics.

Usually a quality drill bit and some easy outs will do the trick.
In the case above, there was no need for finesse because the only thing worth saving was the brake rotor, job done.
