Yoga doesn’t stop at the edge of the mat. 🧘🌿
We are happy to announce the launch of the Yoga Walkers!
Following our yoga trek to Nepal last year, one of our number, Kate, suggested we take our conversations from the studio out into our beautiful local bushland. Whether you’re a seasoned trekker or just love a bit of a bushwalk with friends, this is for you.
Did I mention that we walk pretty SLOWLY? No rush, no "extreme" hiking. If you would like to go a bit faster, that is fine. We can catch up at rest spots. I’ve always been a bit of a dawdler – even when I am pacing it out.
Our First Walk: Sunday, 29 March
Location: Zig Zag Trail, Mt Buninyong (Meet at Blackberry Lane)
Details: We’ll head out after Sunday class. We can carpool from the studio or meet you there!
How to join: Kate is project managing this group via WhatsApp. Search for Yoga Walkers on the app if you'd like to be added to the chat for updates on this walk and future ones. Or, send me a private message with your phone number and I will pass it along to Kate.
See you on the 29th.

What a way to spend a summer long weekend.
Four days of committed practice, thoughtful adaptation to the heat, nuanced teaching, plenty of laughter, and a truly wonderful group of students who showed up for the whole journey. In the middle of a heatwave no less!
So much learning, connection and genuine friendship built over the weekend. It’s always a privilege to witness how a group deepens, supports each other and grows, on and off the mat.
Huge thanks to everyone who took part.
Given how successful this was, we’ll likely run another long weekend workshop over the King’s Birthday long weekend in June, so keep your eyes peeled and don’t miss it!

I love these old moments of Guruji. They carry the atmosphere of a different era, when the work was simple and uncompromising, and the results were unmistakable. Every time I see a photo like this, my own excuses get quieter.
