With eight new artificial grass courts open since October 2013, BLTC has coaching, social tennis, teams in competitions and starter tennis programs.

The Ballarat Foundation has awarded Ballarat Lawn Tennis Club a Peter Amor Sports Participation Grant. The Grant will be used to enroll 10 children from a local Primary School on the "Introduction to Tennis Program" starting in October. The children will also receive a racket and free membership to the club so that they can use the courts at any time.

Good luck Jarrod Joyce who plays in his first ITF Mens World Tennis Tour main draw singles tomorrow at the Mildura 25 Tennis International
He qualified after winning 3 qualifying matches. 3rd round d Oliver Anderson 6-4 3-6 11-9
Jarrod will be playing in ITF Mens events overseas and in Australia for the rest of 2024 while completing his year 12 studies.

Ballarat LTC dedicates two Tennis Courts to Max McLean.
To celebrate the life of club stalwart Max McLean the club held a naming ceremony followed by a sit-down dinner at the club house at Prince of Wales Park on the evening of Thursday 28th September. The photos show the McLean family at the unveiling of the sign commemorating Max' contribution to the club, an old picture of Max channeling his "inner Mcenroe" and a montage of images taken by Leigh Dunne during the course of the evening.
Congratulations to local lad Jarrod Joyce, son of club coach Peter, on winning the J60 ITF doubles event on the Gold Coast this month. This is Jarrod's second doubles title in the past few months. Jarrod also reached the semi-finals of the Queensland Junior International Singles. Well done Jarrod!

Congratulations to Jarrod Joyce, son of BLTC coach Peter. Jarrod was very successful at the Mornington Junior 100 clay court International event, an ITF event for players up to 18 years old. Jarrod (pictured left) with partner Oliver King won the doubles title and Jarrod was runner-up in the singles event, losing out to the No.2 seed Zachary Viiala. Well done Jarrod.
