Tintenbar is looking for a Junior Liaison Officer for season 49.

It's a committee role for someone who wants to help shape junior cricket at the club: being the link between junior families and the committee, and making sure the little details of junior Saturdays run smoothly. No experience needed, just someone who cares how the kids' season goes. Plenty of support from a committee that's been doing this a long time.

School holidays sorted 🏏

The Sydney Sixers are running two kids cricket days in our backyard these holidays. Girls Colour Bash at Lennox Head on Tuesday 6 October (free, ages 5 to 12) and the Holiday Bash at Fripp Oval Ballina on Thursday 8 October (ages 5 to 10, $49).

Here's how season 49 kicks off at Tintenbar, date by date.

Seniors are first out, Saturday 10 October. U14 and U16 trial games run around Saturday 17 October. The junior Saturday comp starts 24 October, and Stage 1 midweek cricket runs Thursday afternoons from 29 October.

Registrations are open for Tintenbar East Ballina Cricket Club’s 49th season, with cricket for kids from age 5 right through to senior grades.

Whether your child has never picked up a bat before, is ready to move up through the junior grades, or you’re an adult looking to get back into cricket yourself, there’s a place at Tintenbar.

Here's what a Tintenbar Saturday looks like this season.

Juniors arrive 7.30am for an 8am start, done by about 11.30. Seniors start at 1pm, 40 overs, off the ground by 6.30 at the latest.

Home games at Kingsford Smith, north and south grounds. Away games around the Northern Rivers: Lennox, Ballina, Brunswick Heads, Byron, Alstonville, Pottsville and Cudgen.
