Delayed Classic post

Night 3 of the classic ,

Started 12th finished 10th in our heat
Started out of 21st finished 3rd in the C main

Started 24th in the B main luke was moving forward but unfortunately DNF with a flat tyre , as always the classic is a tough few days of racing so we have taken afew days off getting ready for the Australian Title at Mt Gambier .

Last night didn’t go as planned , quickly coming to a stop in qualifying with something failing in the front end. We were lucky enough to have several other teams get in and help us quickly re build our spare and change motors in time for heats. We were not lucky enough to keep our qualifying time points which impacted Luke significantly. However in the B main he started from 21st and drove to 8th proving his speed and capability.

Mt Gambier Results

Qualified 27th in our flight
Non qualifiers start 6th finished 6 th
C main started 14 th finished 9th

It was a tough night at the office , the team has re grouped today for a day of maintenance and change, hoping it’s enough for a better run for the Classic. Our first night of racing will be tomorrow 🏁

Qualified 15th in our Flight
Heat 1 started 8th finished 10th
Started 14th B main 2 finished 10th

Not what we were hoping for but we finished the night straight so that’s always a good end to the night

We are now getting ready for Borderline Mt Gambier tonight for the King’s Challenge .

This week of racing is massive for all the teams and as a small team we rely on our crew to take time of work and out of their holidays for really nothing in return which we are very grateful for! Race night at Dubbo didn’t go quite as planned but that is part of racing and we are in the midst of getting ready for Avalon so the team is working over time .
