2. Stop hanging around people/scenarios that don't make you happy
3. Think happier thoughts

The secret to being happy, is, to choose to be happy.

You can't dictate what happens to you in life…

BUT..

You CAN choose how you interpret the situation and the meaning you attach to it.

So often you look up into the night sky and all you see, is darkness….

But the truth is, there are BILLIONS of stars out there….

Lighting up the Universe…

What you see is not always real…

Because your perception can often be very different from reality…

And that’s because you may not have the capacity to see the bigger picture…

Homeostasis…..

Is how your body keeps you alive.

Your body is one giant feedback loop.

What that means, is that it’s always checking in with itself and monitoring if it needs to pump up or turn down how it functions.

👍 The great thing is, it can do it automatically.

Without us having to be conscious of it.

😡 However, sometimes, things go a bit awry.

And you start to get symptoms of pain, stress or disease in your body.

All of this is just your body’s way to talking to you and how it can let you know that it just needs a little bit of help to keep things in check.

So what happens if you ignore it?

🥸 Well, there are three things that can happen –
a. It gets better on it’s own
b. It stays the same at this new regulation point or
c. Things can start to get worse.

🪶 The problem is, most people will tend to ignore the little signs – the feathers, as I like to call them….

🦯 In fact, it can be quite common for us to even ignore the bigger signs – the stick…

🧱 But when the bricks (or the Mack truck) hits…

It can often destabilise us and feel like it’s popped out of nowhere.

🛑 The good news is though, that you don’t have to wait for the bricks to hit…

It’s about learning to tune into your body and working with it, instead of against it or ignoring it.

❤️ When you are able to do this, it means that you’ll be able to treat symptoms of disease well before they become ingrained in the body and harder to shift.

Having worked as a health therapist for over 13 years, one of the most common mistakes I have observed is that people are often looking for the answers externally.

Unfortunately, when you do this, you are actually giving your power away.

What that means, is that you’re not
😇 Ready to accept and own who you are
👍 Willing to take responsibility for your situation or
🙏 Recognising that you have the ability to heal yourself.

Do you have a personal motto?

Mine is....

“If it’s not fun, it won’t get done.”

And that’s because, after a few decades ‘efforting’ life, I’ve discovered that there really is no point doing something unless if you enjoy it.

So, when it comes to things like your business or career and you’re really not having fun, perhaps it’s time to re-evaluate.

Because when you fall out of flow…

When things become laborious and a drag…

It’s often a sign that it’s out of alignment with who you are and what you’re supposed to be doing.

So….

What’ll it be for you?
