I forgot to buy salsa for taco's so I asked Chatgpt what I could make with chicken mince and this us what i got

🍜 Chicken Mince Noodle Bowls
Serves 4

Ingredients
500g chicken mince
250g noodles — rice noodles, egg noodles or hokkien noodles
1 tbsp olive oil or sesame oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1–2 tsp fresh grated ginger
1–2 tsp chilli flakes or 1 tbsp chilli sauce, to taste
¼ cup soy sauce
1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional but delicious)
1 tsp sesame oil
3–4 cups vegetables, such as:
broccoli
carrot
capsicum
snow peas
cabbage
zucchini
Spring onions and sesame seeds to serve

👩‍🍳 Method
1. Cook the noodles
Prepare the noodles according to the packet directions. Drain and set aside.
2. Cook the chicken
Heat a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the oil and chicken mince. Break it up with a wooden spoon and cook for about 5–7 minutes, until completely cooked through and lightly browned.
3. Add the flavour
Add the garlic, ginger and chilli. Cook for another 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
4. Make the sauce
Add:
soy sauce
honey/brown sugar
oyster sauce, if using
sesame oil
Stir everything together and let it bubble for 1–2 minutes.

5. Add your vegetables
Throw in your vegetables and stir-fry for 3–5 minutes. Keep them slightly crunchy rather than cooking them until soft.
6. Add the noodles
Add the cooked noodles to the pan and toss everything together. If it looks a little dry, add a splash of water or another tablespoon of soy sauce.

🥢 To serve
Top with:
sliced spring onion
sesame seeds
extra chilli
coriander if you have it
a squeeze of lime

I only had frozen veg and nothing from the to serve but still turned out delicious

Just a little reminder nutrition doesn't need to be complicated

One off session doesn’t ruin days, weeks, months — or even years — of training.

One off day doesn’t undo your progress. One missed workout, one meal that didn’t go to plan, or one day where you simply didn’t feel like yourself doesn’t mean you need to throw everything away.

The goal is getting into the mindset that even on the off days, the process still works.

Nothing has changed.
Your progress hasn’t disappeared.
You don’t need to start again on Monday.
You simply keep going.

Because we’re human. We’re allowed to have bad days. We’re allowed to feel flat. We’re allowed to not give 100%.

What matters is that one off day doesn’t become the reason you give up on everything you’ve worked so hard for.

Consistency doesn’t mean being perfect. It means continuing. 🤍

One session doesn’t define your journey.
The process is still working. Keep going. ✨

What Is Progressive Overload?

Progressive overload is basically giving your body a little more to work with over time.

In a structured training block, you might keep the same exercises, sets and reps for 4–6 weeks, while gradually increasing the weight as your body gets stronger.

For example:

Week 1 → 10kg
Week 2 → 11kg
Week 3 → 12kg
Week 4 → 13kg

Obviously, the increases will look different for everyone. The goal is to challenge your body without sacrificing your form or technique.

Why Is It Important?

Every time you train, you're giving your muscles a reason to adapt.

You create a stimulus that challenges your muscles, and with adequate recovery, nutrition and consistency, your body adapts by becoming stronger and better equipped to handle that workload.

This is how we build strength, muscle and fitness.

Now, I know what you're thinking...

"But isn't it boring doing the same exercises every week?"

Yep. Sometimes it is.

But boring is where the magic happens.

If your program changes every session or every week, you're constantly learning new movements instead of giving your body the opportunity to get really good at something and progressively improve it.

You need to repeat movements.

You need to practise your technique.

You need to see what you lifted last week and try to beat it.

You need to give your body enough time under a consistent program to actually adapt and change.

So don't be afraid of boring.

Boring doesn't mean ineffective.

Sometimes boring is exactly what you need to get STRONG AF. 💪

Progress isn't always exciting...

But the results are. 🔥
