PRODIGY FC – SPL SEASON 3 ⚽️

Prodigy FC is heading into the SPL Season 3 – Term 4 competition, and we’re looking for a limited number of female players to complete our squads.

⚽️ U10/U11 Females
Competing in the Male U8 competition, with promotion/relegation after the first 4 weeks based on performance.

⚽️ U12 Females
Competing in the U12 Female competition, with one division for the season.

⚽️ U13 Females
Competing in the Male U11 competition, with promotion/relegation after the first 4 weeks based on performance.

Why compete against the boys?

For our female players, playing in the male competition provides a different and challenging development environment. The increased speed, intensity and physical pressure can encourage players to make quicker decisions, protect the ball more effectively, compete confidently in 1v1 situations and become comfortable playing under pressure.

The purpose isn’t simply to play against boys — it’s to place our girls in an environment that challenges them and complements their female club football, helping develop stronger, faster and more confident footballers.

Our teams will be reviewed after the opening four weeks, allowing them to move divisions where appropriate based on their performances.

Another tough morning to start the week. Cold, wet conditions — but the lads still showed up in numbers. 🌧️⚽️

We kicked things off with a high-intensity agility-based warm-up, focusing on sharp feet, explosive changes of direction and speed into space.

From there, plenty of small-ball mastery and tight touches — building the fundamental skills, movement and athletic base that every player needs.

No excuses. Just work. 📈

PRODIGY FC | FULL-TIME ACADEMY LEAGUE 2027 ⚽️

Prodigy FC will be embarking on its first step into full-time academy league football in 2027.

This opportunity will provide our players with a different level of experience — competing against new opposition, experiencing different football philosophies and being challenged in environments designed to accelerate their development.

Our program has been shaped through our own experiences as professional players, coaches and academy owners. We believe exposing players to this diverse football environment will help educate and prepare them to meet the physical, technical and tactical demands of the modern game.

Our training program will focus on:

⚡ Building stronger, more athletic players
⚽ High-volume individual technical development & football concepts
🧠 Team training, tactical understanding & game play

This is another important step in the evolution of Prodigy FC and the pathway we are creating for ambitious young footballers.
