Engage Mudang - Set Piece Rugby Coaching Specialist has made a long overdue return
Last Wed and Thurs night I coached the Inverell Highlander's Rugby Union Club and completed ‘body shape’ sessions for the club and worked with the seniors (Men and Women) on scrums and lineout.

U’14, 16 & 18 Boys and 1st Grade Scrum
Thurs -
U’10 & 12 Boys
U’14 & 16 Girls
Men’s and Women
The club held its annual Ladies Day Sat and I asked the President Justin Oakenfull how they went and this was his test message response:
“Women’s won, seconds went down close, first Won 46-19. Mate can’t thank you enough. Unbelievable the difference.”
Congrats to the Highlanders club for a whole of club approach to coach and player education and some excellent results on the weekend. All the best for the rest of the Central North Rugby Union season.
The spirit of rugby is alive and well in community rugby but what is clearly required is more knowledge to assist coaches and clubs because they only know what they know.

2022 was a slow year for Engage Mudang - Set Piece Rugby Coaching Specialist due to hip replacement surgery and a lengthy rehabilitation.
Big things are planned for 2023 so I look forward to more set piece body shape and technique sessions.

In order for the scrum and code to survive more work must be done to upskill and educate more coaches and athletes on the benefit of good body shape and technique.
