🏐 GRAND FINAL 🏐

And just like that… we’ve arrived! 💙

For one final time in 2026, our A Grade team is proudly presented by San Remo, Cowes & Grantville Bendigo Bank and our Elite level sponsors!

They’ve worked hard all season for this moment, and tomorrow the Panthers take to the court with everything on the line in the biggest game of the year.

Standing in their way will be reigning premiers Korumburra-Bena, who will be determined to defend their crown and finish the season on top.

For our team, it’s an opportunity to finish an incredible year and create a piece of history.

The Kilcunda Bass Football Netball Club is saddened to learn of the passing of past premiership player and junior coach, Bobby Smith.

Bobby started his football career with KB, as did his brothers Colin (Butch), Ray (Sq**rt) and Billy.

Bobby was a talented mid-fielder who won three club Senior Best and Fairest awards the first as a 19 year old in 1966 then 1968 and 1970.

He was a member of the senior Premiership side in 1969 and awarded “Best on Ground”.

In 1972 he coached the thirds to a Premiership with many of those players going on to win a senior premiership in 1980.

Bobby furthered his coaching career with a move to Glen Alvie in 1973 where he also won another six B &Fs. He finished his football career playing at Phillip Island adding another B&F for a career total of 10.

Sincere condolences to children Hayley, Rebecca, James and Billy and their partners and children.

A memorial service to celebrate Bobby’s life will be held at the Social Rooms, Bass Recreation Reserve, Hade Ave, Bass at 2pm on Thursday 1st of October.

Sollberger’s back. 💙

We’re thrilled to say David Sollberger has recommitted for the 2027 season.

He became a much-loved figure on and off the field in his first season in blue and white, and we’re looking forward to seeing what he can do next year 💪

53 YEARS IN THE MAKING! 🐾

In 1973, our A Grade netballers etched their names into Kilcunda Bass history, defeating Lang Lang 28-25 to claim the club’s first, and still only — A Grade premiership.

There have been A Grade Grand Final appearances since, in 1975, 1979 and 1980, but the ultimate prize has remained out of reach.

Now, 53 years later, a new generation of Panthers have earned their place on Grand Final day.

The legacy of those who came before them remains. The opportunity in front of them is their own.

There is still a Grand Final to be played, but whatever Saturday brings, this is a significant moment in the story of Kilcunda Bass A Grade netball.

This Saturday, we honour the past, embrace the present and get behind the team as they step on court and give it everything they've got. 💙🤍

Garfield Recreation Reserve.
Game starts at 3pm.

Welcome to Kilcunda Bass, Jarrod! 💙

We’re delighted to announce the signing of Jarrod Smith for the 2027 season.

A premiership player with Nar Nar Goon in 2024, Jarrod’s got immense x-factor with elite goal sense and also the ability to pinch hit in the midfield.

Having just moved to the area, we can’t wait to see he and his family at the club next year! 🐾
