Bulls Vs Bushrangers
Bulls won the toss and chose to bat.
Darryl and Dawes opened the batting, both openers went hard early at the Bushrangers bowling attack and it paid off.
Dawes fell for 48, this brought Lucky to the wicket and along with Darryl they continued to score runs at will, Lucky was out just before drinks and Bulls were 2-102.
Anthony was out without troubling the score board straight after drinks, but with wickets in hand the decision to promote Prince up the order to free his arms paid off blasting a quick fire 35.
Vejay came in and continued to push the score along and Darryl continued to make light work of the Bushrangers bowling attack dispatching the ball all over the paddock. Vejay departed for a controlled 17. Rouland came and went adding nothing to the total, this didn’t matter as the hard work had already been done. 6-182
Darryl went on to make his 100 in fine style with support from Rewi standing strong.
Darryl out for 125 in the last over of the innings, a great knock.
Bulls went on to post a massive score of 257 to win.
Opening bowlers Rouland and Singh worked hard early, Nav snared a wicket in his first over, unfortunately Rouland picked up an inury with a side strain and was struggling to bowl and left the field but not before removing the other Bushrangers opening batsman.
Nav was on fire with the ball and was taking wickets at will. Dawes took a tough chance to remove Deegan, as more wickets fell.
Lucky was brilliant again with the gloves this week taking a couple of nice catches.
Bushrangers captain Brock showed resilience against the Bulls bowling attack but the wickets kept falling around him at a quick rate. Nav finished his spell with 7-50 and was well supported by all the Bulls bowlers and once again the fielding was top shelf this week. Bulls bowled Bushrangers out for 92.
