Western Reds is a Basketball club developed for the stronger and skilled Basketball players of the Western area for the Country Premier League Competition.
Western Reds was first established in 2013 by Paul Masters. Paul has a strong passion for Basketball and since his return to Bathurst several years ago he has invested a lot of time and energy into developing the skills of Western Basketball Players. Western Reds enables the stronger athletes within Western Basketball Associations to play at a higher, elite levels to broaden their Basketball skill

Although the last tournament the Western Reds were attending was cancelled, a number of athletes were still keen to purchase their Reds Uniforms!
Under 16 Men athlete Kurt Lansom was eager to try it on!

EOIs had been completed and athletes who were selected missed this opportunity. Given this, we have given these athletes the first opportunity to accept their position to attend the Canberra Junior Shootout.
Athletes are given until 1 August to accept. If not accepted, invites will be issued to other athletes.

Basketball ACT is conducting it's 3rd Canberra Easter Junior Tournament held from Friday 10 to Monday 13 April 2020 and Western Reds have been invited!
If we receive a large number of expressions to attend this tournament, a selection panel (including members of Western Region Associations) will convene and select 10 players for each age group to attend.
