Some supporters have been with us right from the very beginning, and Mel from Prestige Embroidery Bathurst is one of those very special people! 🏐

Since the beginning of our Bathurst All Abilities Netball journey, Mel has generously sponsored our team’s uniforms, ensuring our players have always had uniforms to wear with pride.

As our program has continued to grow and welcome new players, Mel has been there every step of the way, making sure every new player has a uniform of their own and feels just as much a part of our team as everyone else.

Our Bathurst All Abilities Netball team is just days away from heading to Melbourne for the 2026 Special Olympics National Games! 🥹

For our athletes, this journey is about so much more than netball. It’s about friendship, inclusion, confidence, independence and showing the everyone what they’re capable of.

We are incredibly proud of Montana, Donna, Dot, Claire, Lara, Thant, Conner, Matt, Garry and Ruby. Each of them brings something special to our team, and we cannot wait to see them out on court representing Bathurst! 💙🏐💛

💙💛 A big thank you! 💛💙

Firstly, a HUGE thank you to everyone who came down to Bunnings, grabbed a sanga, bought a raffle ticket or simply stopped by to say hello! 🌭

We continue to be blown away by the support our All Abilities team receives from our community, and we are so incredibly grateful.

I also wanted to give a special thank you to some of our biggest behind-the-scenes supporters — my family.

They have been there throughout our entire All Abilities journey — helping, encouraging, listening to all my ideas and always jumping in whenever needed.

When we found out we were heading to Melbourne for the Special Olympics National Games, they didn’t hesitate. We already had our family holiday booked for the exact same week, it was cancelled and Melbourne was booked instead so they could be there!

From organising and buying supplies for BBQs, helping with fundraising, collecting things, setting up and packing down, to being there for the emotional support when things get a little overwhelming — they do so much that often goes unseen.

Thank you for always being behind me and behind our team. You may not always be the ones out on court, but you are a huge part of our All Abilities family. 💙💛

🌭 SNAGS, RAFFLES & NETBALL… WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT? 🎟️🏐

We’ve swapped the netball court for the BBQ tongs! 😂

This Monday 5 October, you’ll find the All Abilities Netball Bathurst crew and their support crew at Bunnings, cooking up snags and selling tickets in our AMAZING raffle!

Thanks to our incredible community, we’ve already reached our fundraising goal to help get our athletes to the Special Olympics National Games in Melbourne 💙💛 — something we are still completely blown away by!

Any additional funds raised will go straight back into supporting our All Abilities program, including equipment, training resources and future opportunities for our players.

And because apparently we don’t know how to stop fundraising… 😂 we’ve got some pretty awesome raffle prizes up for grabs too!

🎟️ $2 a ticket or 3 for $5

So come grab a snag, grab some raffle tickets and say hello. And remember… calories consumed for a good cause don’t count. 🌭😂
