Another great year at Sydney International Cup.
From 5 teams in 2025 to 8 teams in 2026, Falcon Football Coaching absolutely loves attending SIC and experiencing the high level of quality football.
2026 saw a few teams returning for a 2nd crack at SIC.
- U10/11 Girls went from 2nd last place in 2025 to finishing in 4th place 2026, absolutely amazing improvent, will be back for another chance at the trophy in 2027 🙂
- U11 Navy went from 31st place in 2025 to 16th place in 2026 another massive improvement, looking for a battle in the top 8 for 2027 💪
All other teams were there to experience SIC for the first time, there were some ups and downs, wins and losses. But all teams dug in deep and played every game with the Falcon Spirit.
Thank you SIC for another great year, will see you in 2027.
Highlights
- U13s Nico Lenehan walked away as the U13s master touch champion ⚽️🏆
- U10/11s Girls Oriana Robinson won the Golden Glove and also walked away as the MVP of the finals 🧤🥇

4/4 for Elijah - Noone likes a penalty shoot out but it's a pressure you cannot replica at training. These types of experiences are what we came for - well done mate, it's not an easy job!

Before the day ends I'd like to thank these superstars over the last 4 days - I might have put in some hours, but so did they. Most days we arrived at sunrise and left beyond sunset.
They really love this community we are building and I thank everyone who has joined us over the weekend. See you next year SIC ⚽

It takes a special bunch of kids to be down 4-1 at half time, to then bring the score back and win in penalty shoot outs. Proud is an understatement and I really hope that this moment takes the pressure off in the years to come. I hope they can remember the time they made a come back and never gave up, when they stepped up with courage and took a penalty (or saved one) at just 8yrs old.australia Under 8s champions - you guys have made history!

The only photo I managed to get! Thank you to Mr Jin for having us, it was a great day of football ⚽
