👥 AGE MANAGERS – THIS IS FOR YOU TOO!

Alvin from NSW Athletics will be running an Age Manager training session at 3pm today.

If you’re already an Age Manager, thinking about becoming one, or simply want to know what’s involved, come along! It’s a great opportunity to ask questions, learn more and get ready for the season ahead.

WHAC is a family-based, volunteer-run club, and many hands really do make light work. We’d love to train more people to help with:

⏱️ Finish line operations
📋 Rego and trial pack allocation on Saturday mornings
👕 Uniform sales
🙌 General assistance throughout the season

No experience is necessary — we can show you what to do! Even helping occasionally makes a huge difference to our athletes and our club.

Winston Hills Athletics Centre is pleased to offer a 2 Week Trial for just $42 for the 2026/27 season.

Your child can join their age group and experience two Saturday competition days between 19 September and 24 October 2026. They’ll get the chance to have a go at a range of athletics events, meet new friends and see what Saturday mornings at WHAC are all about.

⭐ Try a variety of athletics events
⭐ $42 trial fee refunded if you decide to register for the remainder of the 2026/27 season!

🏃 Come and Try Skills Session

Our Come and Try skills session will run between 2:00pm and 4:00pm on Saturday, 5 September.

This session is open to athletes registered for the 2026/27 season and is a great opportunity to have a go at events that may be new to them this season, practise some skills and get back into athletics before competition begins.

🏁 First Running Day – 12 September

We can’t wait to have all our athletes back at Gooden Reserve for our first running day on Saturday, 12 September 2026.

A reminder that results will be recorded from the very first day this season, so athletes can start tracking their performances and improvements straight away.

🥉 Athlete Spotlight – Ellie 🥉

A huge congratulations to Ellie on being awarded the 🥉 Bronze Medal in the 2026 NSW Athletics Winter Series Pointscore for the U8 Girls age group! 💛🖤

Throughout the Winter Series, Ellie showed fantastic determination and versatility, competing across three Winter Track Series (WTS) meets in an impressive range of events.

💪 Shot Put

Her willingness to challenge herself across both track and field events, combined with her consistent performances throughout the series, earned her a well-deserved place on the overall pointscore podium.
