Volunteers are the people who keep Super Sikhs moving.

They give their time, take responsibility, solve problems behind the scenes and continue to show up — often without recognition.

💙 𝗝𝗮𝘀𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗞𝗮𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝗮𝗴𝗴𝘂
Our Basketball Coordinator for the past three years, Jaspreet has played a major role in the growth of the Super Sikhs basketball program — from around six teams to 14 teams at the 2026 Australian Sikh Games.

From year-round training and registrations to team allocations, records and member communication, Jaspreet contributes countless hours behind the scenes to keep the program running.

💛 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗞𝗮𝘂𝗿
Now in her third year as a team manager, Amarpreet has been part of campaigns that have delivered 𝟮 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟭 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗿.

Even with her own daughter injured, Amarpreet still put her hand up to manage the team — attending trainings, liaising with parents and supporting the coaches throughout the season.

As an experienced manager, she continues to step forward wherever help is needed and has also supported newer managers within the club.

💙 𝗝𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗵
Most people around Super Sikhs will know Jatinder as the person behind the lens.

Over the past two years, he has tirelessly captured some of the most iconic moments of our athletes — photos that have become cherished memories for players, families and the club.

In 2026, Jatinder also put his hand up to contribute in another way, stepping in as a parent coach to support our 𝗨𝟭𝟯 𝗕𝗼𝘆𝘀 — 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗱 team.

Three volunteers, three different contributions, and one shared commitment to giving back to the Super Sikhs community. 💙💛

💙 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗺𝗮
A first-time manager and parent coach with our U15 Girls Hukam team. Mandeep showed great initiative preparing the team ahead of the Australian Sikh Games and shared his own basketball experience from India to support the group.

💛 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝘃𝗷𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗞𝗮𝘂𝗿
A first-time manager with Open Women Aneel who brought strong organisation, clear communication and timely information-sharing, while supporting both the coach and team throughout the campaign.

💙 𝗦𝘂𝗸𝗵𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗞𝗮𝘂𝗿
Now in her third campaign as manager of U17 Boys Jot, Sukhpal helped support the team to a second consecutive Australian Sikh Games title while continuing to bring players and families together through calm leadership and strong team connection.

Managers are often the people doing the work that others don’t see — and these three have made a real difference to their teams in 2026.

A long-standing Super Sikhs member and Basketball Head Coach who continues to share his experience across basketball and volleyball and support the development of younger athletes.

Unable to play in 2026 due to a knee injury, Mansaroop stepped into coaching and guided our Mixed U14 team through training and the Australian Sikh Games with passion, resilience and attention to detail.

A long-term Super Sikh competing at representative level in both beach and indoor volleyball for the ACT.
