The camera angle might not be the best and I might not be back in shoes properly just yet thanks to my broken toe but had to share my win!!

Today I leg pressed 150kg and deadlifted 27.5kg.

After living with chronic pain for over 20 years, I’m finally starting to get it under control with the right medication. It’s been a long journey, and there have been plenty of setbacks, but being able to get back to doing what I love most which is lifting weights feels awesome!

Progress isn’t always perfect. Sometimes it’s slow, at times depressing and looks a little different than you imagined, I’ve had to pivot with my training so many times.

If you’re dealing with injury, pain, or setbacks, don’t give up, keep showing up for yourself.
