John Gardiner Ski Club is a family based club with a lodge catering for winter skiing and summer bush walking. It is one of many lodges located in the main township atop Mount Baw Baw. Mount Baw Baw is a National Park and offers breathtaking views and plenty of activities both in the summer months (the green season) and the winter months (the white season). The lodge provides accommodation for its members and guests. With 20 beds in 6 rooms, a double kitchen and dining room, and a ski and drying room for the winter, it is big enough for the whole family. The lodge is suited best for families and small groups such as Bush Walking Clubs, Scout and Girl Guide groups and Small School Groups (out door education). Generally accommodation is available mid-week winter and most summer periods. The John Gardiner Ski Club is a co-op organization run by members who run and maintain the lodge.
