🏆 HONOURING OUR PAST LEGENDS – DARRYL STRANGER 💚💛

Some people play for a cricket club. Others help shape its history, build its culture and leave a legacy that lasts long after they’ve put the bat and ball away.

Darryl Stranger is one of those people.

With 342 club games, 253 First XI appearances, 7,094 runs, 489 wickets, 6 club championships and 3 Most Outstanding Player awards, Darryl’s contribution to Bayswater Cricket Club is nothing short of remarkable.

A life member, former president and a true Bayswater legend, Darryl represents what it means to be part of something bigger than yourself. His commitment, passion and years of service have helped shape the club we are today.

But his legacy is about more than statistics and silverware. It’s about the people he’s influenced, the teammates he’s stood beside, the memories he’s helped create and the standards he’s set for those who follow.

We stand on the shoulders of those who came before us. The responsibility now falls on us to honour their efforts, protect what they’ve built and leave Bayswater Cricket Club in an even better place for the generations still to come.

Because a club isn’t just about the team you play in or the results on the scoreboard. It’s about belonging, giving back and being part of a story that began long before you arrived.

Darryl, thank you for everything you’ve given to Bayswater Cricket Club. Your name is firmly etched into our history, and your legacy will continue to inspire those who wear the green and gold.
