Beaudesert State High School is inviting current Year 7, 8 and 9 students to trial for a place in our 2027 Brumbies Rugby League Academy!

Whether your child is already part of the Academy, is looking to take their rugby league skills to the next level, or is considering joining Beaudesert State High School, this is their opportunity to get involved.

We're looking for players who bring more than just talent to the field. Passion, commitment, teamwork and a willingness to work hard are what make a great Brumby!

What a night celebrating our senior Kingfishers!

Last night’s Senior Presentation Evening at the L and A Hotel was a wonderful way to celebrate the season and the people who made it happen.

The presentation night was filled with good food, great music, plenty of dancing and a little karaoke, so there was no shortage of fun! A few performances may have been fuelled more by enthusiasm than talent, but we’ll leave those awards for next year!

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made it such a memorable night. A lovely way to finish the season together with our Kingfishers family!

What a week for our U11's!!

Over the past weekend our U11's made the journey to the outback for the 2026 Mulga Cup in Charleville.

22 teams from our neighbours in Wawrick 😉 to Barcaldine, from Cunnamulla to Winton, the teams travelled for 3 epic days of football. Our Kingies played 8 games in total with amazing talent throughout the carnival.

We are incredibly proud of our team both on and off the field showing outstanding sportsmanship to fellow team mates and the opposition alike. The team swapped Kingies merch with other teams and made new friends and by the weekend the grounds were full of kingfisher supporters, at times it was hard to distinguish between our team and their new friends between games.

We also had a couple of team awards over the course of the carnival, our first being our encouragement award which went to Nixon. His development over the weekend was outstanding.
It was a difficult decision for our coaching staff but for his efforts on the field, his never give up attitude and his determination to was why Spencer took out our coaches choice award.
Lastly over the 3 days the team did a secret vote for their own players player and this year our #1 Tank Hosie took home the honours. His spirit, sportsmanship and hard work on the field did not go unnoticed.

A big thankyou to Sienna and Taite for stepping into our team without hesitation so we could attend we are truly grateful.

WHAT A WEEKEND FOR OUR U9 KINGIES!
Our U9 Kingfishers travelled to Proserpine over the weekend to take part in the Paul Bowman Challenge, and what an incredible weekend it was!
With 82 teams from all around Queensland coming together, our Kingies played 7 games across 2 days and finished UNDEFEATED!
But the results weren't even the best part. Our boys were also awarded the Spirit Award for teamwork and sportsmanship in their pool — something we are incredibly proud of.
We travelled to Proserpine with just 8 of our own players, with two awesome U8 players from the local Proserpine team joining us for the weekend. A huge honourable mention to Eli & Max — you were both amazing additions to our team!
Every single player gave it everything, played tough and fair, supported each other and, most importantly, loved every second of it.
