Today’s DMC action

What a game! It was edge-of-your-seat stuff from start to finish, with our Haack Logistics DMC side going down to Runaway Bay 20–18 in a very physical battle.

It wasn’t the result we wanted, but we couldn’t be prouder of this team. They’re not only good footballers, they’re good people who will keep putting in and showing up for one another right until the end.

Our Scenic Rim Waste & Recycling Man of the Match went to Grayson Angus, who was outstanding. Grayson scored two tries and put in a huge performance for his team—a very well-deserved award.

We go again next Saturday for our final chance to earn a place in the Grand Final.

Congratulations to our U15 Girls for a gutsy win over Coomera yesterday.

Coomera were tough and ready to play! The game was locked at 4 all by half time but our girls dug deep and solidified their win in the second half!

A great testament to how far the girls have come this year and even in the last few months since they played Coomera last which resulted in a tie!

An incredible game from both teams!

Congratulations to all of our girls, their coaches, Dani and Lexie and everyone else involved.

What a season it has been! From the very first game right through to the Grand Final — what a journey! 💙🖤🐦

Unfortunately, we didn’t get the result we wanted on Grand Final day, but that takes absolutely nothing away from the incredible season this group of boys has had. They should hold their heads high and be incredibly proud of everything they have achieved. 💪🏽🔥

Coming into the season with pretty much an entirely new team, with many boys who had never played footy before, nobody could have predicted what this group would go on to achieve.

But week after week, they worked hard, learned, improved and, most importantly, they came together.

What started as a group of boys quickly became a team, and that team became a family. 🖤🐦💙

We led the competition from start to finish, putting in the hard work both on and off the field. The commitment, determination and belief these boys showed all season was something special.

To my captain, Mason Krestensen — what an awesome job you have done leading this team all year. You have been a fantastic captain and a great leader for the boys. You should be incredibly proud of yourself. 👊🏽💪🏽
