Curated by Chef Josh Lopez alongside the Gold Coast Turf Club Executive Chef Team, the Eat Local Month Race Day Luncheon celebrates the region’s finest Scenic Rim produce across an elevated three-course grazing experience, complemented by a five-hour drinks package.

Overlooking the straight and set beside the Ilbogan Lagoon, The Pavilion offers a relaxed yet refined race day setting to enjoy the atmosphere of the Clydesdale Cup.

The Q State Properties Clydesdale Cup Race Day returns to Beaudesert Race Club on Friday 12 June 🐎

Expect a full day of country racing, the crowd favourite Clydesdale Gallop, Fashions on the Field and plenty happening trackside.

We’re also proud to be partnering on this year’s Race Day Luncheon, with Chef Josh Lopez and the Gold Coast Turf Club Executive Chef Team putting together a menu celebrating the best local Scenic Rim produce, paired with a 5-hour drinks package.

GIBBO’S TIPS – Aquis Beaudesert 23/5

Race 2 #1 PARETO
Doesn’t win out of turn but best form is on soft ground. Solid last week behind a handy one on the poly and better for the two runs back. Apprentice takes 3kg off and should get his chance.

Race 3 #6 BOOYA BOY
Nice winner on debut last prep and then ran last (not beaten far) next start before being tipped out. Off the scene for five months but won a trial by 3L on this track on May 8. Taking on trust and only has to run up to that trial to win.

Race 5 #1 CHICAGO KING
Looks a race in two with CHAYSE ‘N’ LEISA but both are hard to trust. CHICAGO KING has to lump 63kg but like the fact they went with Thornton to ride. They must use the gate to land in the first 5 settling and try to avoid getting stuck on the fence when others make their move. Should be in the finish if that’s the case.
