Get up it’s Race Day !!!!

Opening night was a statement from the Barrett Boys.

Brock & Mitch started their Australia title campaign last weekend.

Rolling into the grande parade with shiny cars Mitch took out best presented top star junior sedan.

Both boys were very quick straight off the jump, with Brock up on the wheel on his new mirage and Mitch making big passes in his Lancer.

Unfortunately we got rained out and it was time for a Pepsi Max. Podium resulted as top points after rain out

The boys would like to thank Dad & Uncle Clynky for prepping and stickering the cars and all their family, supporters and sponsors as they dig deep for the season ahead.

Make sure to get your backside trackside on the 15th of November Tyres & More Esperance as the Barret Boys goes head to head for the Junior Sedan South-East Open.

Better late than never. We have been a bit quiet on socials lately but here’s an update of where we are at

Last weekend Southy had his first hit out at home in the Late Model. Running a base setup and trying to find our feet with getting comfortable and confident in the car…. Bit of differance from a F500 that’s for sure.

We got one heat race in the books before we got rained out and resorted to elbow raises in the bar.

It’s been a busy period in the shed getting the car race ready and a lot of help along the way but we are ready to tackle the season ahead and get as many laps in as we can.

A Massive thanks to Sean & Uncle for helping re-panelling & stickering the car and getting it up to standard for the season ahead. I definitely wouldnt be racing if it wasn’t for these two legends.

Gaz & Kerrie for housing the car after practice and using their workshop and getting my tralier ready and always being there for anything we need. It doesn’t go unnoticed especially Linda & Wazza always keeping the car clean and ready to roll.

Mat Robbins for always being a legend and helping get me shocks ready.

And just everyone else that’s always rolls into the shop to lend a hand (mostly drink beers) Wart, Eddie, Gaz, Crawf, Liam, Todd, Nick and Pauly. Always appreciate a hand and we are truly blessed to have such a good speedway family here in Esperance.

Last but not least Kiara, Harrison & Payton for always being so supportive and giving up family time for us to go racing but making memories along the way. Crazy to believe Harrison will start racing Outlaw Karts next season.

Harvest time has started on the farm but hopefully we will have another run on the 15th of November at Tyres & More Esperance.
