Ok everyone, normal Class tonight but on Thursday we are going to have a special guest Instructor come down and take Class. Ajarn Yai Greg Muldoon, my old training partner for close on 20 years, will be bringing his 36 years of Muay Thai exerience to show you all some of the ways he was taught at his old Clubs - Ultimate Muay Thai in Melbourne and Bloodaxe Muay Thai in Queensland. So last night Kayla went for her Black Singlet-White Logo Grading and did really well. She handled the 20 x 2 min rounds, with a 1 min break in between, with good disipline and paced herself to ensure she went the distance. She put a lot of pressure on herself and this showed a little bit, but overall it was a very good Grading. Well done Kayla and now to look forward to your 30 x 2 min rounds next year πŸ₯ŠπŸ₯ŠπŸ₯Š Special thanks to Jeremy and Stephan from Sentōkan 555 Gym for coming down and helping out again πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

Tuesday night - Piper's Black Singlet/White Logo Grading. This is a milestone Grading for the Student as it is only done after 4 years of training, and is the equivilent of a Black Belt in Karate, as in the two previous Muay Thai styles I trained in - BJC and ABK - with the Student having to complete 20 x 2 min rounds of sparring with a 1 min break in between. Piper is one of our younger Students and is only 13 (turning 14 in a weeks time - Happy Birthday from the Club πŸŽ‚). Congrats Piper for passing your Grading and for all of those who attended on the night to spar her. Special thanks to Jeremy and the boys from Sentōkan 555 Gym for coming down and helping by giving Piper a couple of different people to go against πŸ₯ŠπŸ₯ŠπŸ₯ŠπŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

So last Thursday Mark went for, and passed, his Black SInglet-White Logo Grading but unfortunately the Singlets weren't quite finished in time. I picked them up on Monday and presented it to him last night, with his Certificate. Well done Mark πŸ₯ŠπŸ₯ŠπŸ₯Š

Thursday night - Mark's Black Singlet/White Logo Grading. This is a milestone Grading for the Student as it is only done after 4 years of training, and is the equivilent of a Black Belt in Karate, as in the two previous Muay Thai styles I trained in - BJC and ABK - with the Student having to complete 20 x 2 min rounds of sparring with a 1 min break in between. Mark is our oldest Student at 57 and excelled last night even with a few health issues he has.
