Tuesday night's Class - Last night we had 4 new, younger Students come down for a trial lesson so we did a little bit of rearranging to help incorporate them in to Class. Kayla, Piper, Kahira and Zion all stepped up a level and held pads for them, and ran them through the different techniques. I floated back and forth between them all just to ensure everything was going well - and to say I was super proud and impressed by the maturity of the older Students as they taught the new ones is an understatement.....they rocked πŸ₯ŠπŸ₯ŠπŸ₯Š Unfortunately the way things were left Lachlan and Steve basically to their own devices but they had fun putting their own combos together πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

Open shout out to any Muay Thai Clubs within 45 minutes of Beenleigh - I have 3 Students going for their Black-White Logo Grading over the next few weeks and this requires them to do 20 x 2 min rounds of sparring πŸ₯ŠπŸ₯ŠπŸ₯Š

If any other Clubs want to bring some of their Students down for a few rounds then you are more than welcome - there are no politics with our Club and we don't care what system you train under πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

These are the dates - Thursday 10th September, Tuesday 15th September and Thursday 17th September. Sparring starts at 6.30 pm and goes through to 7.30 pm. If anyone is keen on coming, then just drop me a personal message to confirm and I'll give you the Club address πŸ‘ŒπŸ™πŸ₯Š

Thursday night's Class - Part 1 : Padwork. Tonight we played around with varying techniques that involved kicks, knees, jams and hands. The first couple of photos show Anthony executing one of them - front jam to the knee to stop the assailent moving in and then back leg shin kick to the thigh 🦢πŸ₯Š

Tuesday night's Class was a little bit smaller with Steve and family off at the Gympie Muster and a few others off sick. In light of this we mucked around with techniques we don't do that often that involved kicks, hands and elbows. Then to finish off we practised some open hand self defense techniques that used deflection of the punches, controlling the arm and then "knife-strikes" to the vunerable points - throat and nose areas πŸ₯ŠπŸ‘Œ
