WOMEN’S TENNIS NETWORK (WTN) 8TH ANNIVERSARY ROUND ROBIN and SOCIAL TENNIS

WHEN: Saturday 27 June, 12.30 – 3.30pm (a fine day is forecast BUT in the event of wet weather we will postpone until 4 July)

COST: Club Members $5; Non-Club Members $10 (the link to pay on-line will be sent to participants once registered/cash on day)

FORMAT:
* Round Robin - enter as an individual (partners will be allocated)
OR as a pair (depending on numbers and standards, we will try
to keep the pairing)
* Fast-4 x 3 sets (1st pair to win 4 games, 7-point advantage tie-
breaker at 3-3)
* Social Tennis for those who do not wish to play in the
tournament (and ball machine if a court is available)

SOCIAL: Refreshments (please bring something to share),
presentations and Lucky Door prize draw (must be present in person for the draw) following play

Today was our Annual General Meeting. This year’s Club Member of the Year/ Pauline Lyall award went to a very well deserving Barb T! Barb has been inspirational not only in the amount of work she has done for BTC this year, but the Sterling manner in which she’s done it! Congratulations Barb, and a very heartfelt thank you from your Club!

We had a lovely afternoon tea and saluted our recent ACT Sports and Rec Grant for $29K to install solar panels and a battery.

Some awesome news BTC and friends! We were successful in the 2026 Community Sport Facility Program application! We will be getting $29K to put towards solar panels on the Clubhouse and installing a battery. This will enable us to save thousands of dollars a year! A huge thank you to all who worked on the application especially Kate, Jo and Jeff.
