Geelong Rangers FC is excited to invite Expressions of Interest for our new Advanced Girls Program commencing in 2027.
With the introduction of Football Victoria's updated advanced girls' competition pathway, we are seeking talented, dedicated, and ambitious players who are committed to developing their game and taking the next step in their football journey.
If you are passionate about football, eager to improve, and ready to be part of an exciting new chapter at Geelong Rangers FC, we encourage you to register your interest today.
Geelong Rangers plan to enter teams in the Metro Community A divisions for the following age groups in 2027,
U17 (born 2010,2011),
U15 (born 2012,2013),
U13 (born 2014,2015).

Geelong Rangers FC is excited to invite Expressions of Interest for our new Advanced Girls Program commencing in 2027.
With the introduction of Football Victoria's updated advanced girls competition pathway, we are seeking talented, dedicated, and ambitious players who are committed to developing their game and taking the next step in their football journey.
Our newly established Advanced Community A Teams will compete in the new Community A league structure, providing a clear pathway into the Advanced Girls competition pyramid. The Community A competition serves as an important entry point for aspiring clubs and players, with progression opportunities available through strong club and team performances.
Teams will train twice per week and compete in the Melbourne-based North/West A divisions. This program is designed to offer a challenging and supportive environment for players who may have missed opportunities within the Girls GVYPL/GVYNPL pathway, as well as those aspiring to reach these higher levels of competition in the future.

Geelong Rangers plan to enter teams in the following age groups in 2027,

Important things to consider before registering.
Training attendance is mandatory 2 nights a week, playing in the advanced pathway requires more commitment.
Away games are in Melbourne so players are expected to travel, depending on the league structure we could be playing as far away as Epping, Gisbourne.
Games are on Sunday. (Not Saturday like local Geelong league)
Fees are slightly higher than local Geelong league to cover additional costs incurred with team and player fees, plus players will receive an additional playing kit.

After consulting with our Executive committee, we have decided to postpone the AGM by 3 weeks. This will provide members more opportunity to consider their nominations and maximise attendance at the AGM.

It's time for our Annual General Meeting.

For a club likes ours to function, we rely on volunteers to contribute to the operations. In our big club, we have a large number of skills. If you can contribute your skills, please consider being part of the committee. You don't need to be a soccer expert, we need a range of skills and knowledge. Committee members are provided discounts towards their fees. Roles to be voted on are President, Treasurer, Secretary and Committee Members.

Come along and discuss the future of the club. We are still actively looking for nominations for all roles. Nominations will be accepted up to the voting at the AGM.
